In its 7th year of operation, KIPP Bridge has achieved great success, as evidenced by the incredible performance of our students. Despite arriving in the 5th grade performing on a 2nd or 3rd grade level in reading and math, our students outperformed the schools in OUSD and their neighborhood. In the 2005-6 school year, we made enormous strides toward closing the achievement gap as demonstrated by significant gains on the California Standards Test (CST).
- On the 2006 California Standards Test, KIPP Bridge 7th and 8th grade students outperformed the district and the state in all content areas: English, Math, Science and Social Studies
- On the 2006 California Standards Test, KIPP Bridge 5th grade students outperformed the district in Math and our 6th graders outperformed the district and the state in both Math and Language Arts.

- In the fall of 2005, seventeen 8th grade students applied to the A Better Chance program, which finds them spots in the nation's most prestigious high schools. Fifteen of the seventeen were accepted.
