KIPP to College
The KIPP to College program’s core responsibility is to track, support, and empower all alumni to fulfill their potential for success. The KIPP to College alumni program was created to ensure that all KIPP alumni are able to overcome any obstacle they face and pursue successful futures. We visit our high school students at their schools at least once a year to support them and gain a first-hand understanding of their performance, as well as to build relationships with school administrators. We also rely on phone, e-mail, text-messaging, and instant messaging to communicate with alumni. On an as needed basis, KIPP to College provides tutoring and homework assistance. Today, KIPP to College serves 70 alumni and 43 eighth graders at KIPP Bridge. This number grows each year, as we welcome new classes to the ranks of alumni.
